the same vein. I think that's the correct title. I remember a picture=20=

of "correct position of the left hand" in which the left hand is behind=20=

a music stand and other kinds of things. I always liked the one=20
listed as "incorrect rhythm but correct time" that included a clock on=20=

the wall in the picture.

There are stories of unsuspecting undergraduates being told that it was=20=

time for them to graduate to the Schmutzig method at their next=20
lesson. Upperclassmen were all aware of what was to happen and seemed=20=

to gather outside the studio as the unsuspecting student was introduced=20=

to 'the method'. I think it was usually best on students who were=20
rather full of themselves.
