I do not get cable--cannot afford it--many people do not get cable.
PBS is the only channel watched in my household. I contribute over
$250 a year to PBS stations. I also pay taxes. If a station is
competing in the marketplace they need ad revenue and wouldn't care a
hoot if we watched them all day if they were ad free.
