Hi Ed,
My reed making operation is in my house and my tools are covered under my =
home-owners policy. The general policy coverage is adequate, but you =
always have the option of getting a separate endorsement added to your =
policy if you want to enumerate your tools on the policy. It will cost a =
little extra each year if you do it that way.

In some 50 years of making reeds and buying tools for that purpose, I
have accumulated quite a selection of tools and machinery. It is kept
in a fairly secure place, but it has been suggested to me that I should
have it all insured. Has anyone ever done this? Who will insure such
items?
