Congratulations on recovering your instrument!

I just got back from IDRS conf. and was able to carry my oboe in my backpack
most of the time. I just wonder if some opportunistic person with knowledge
about expensive instruments prowls places like that, waiting for some
student to set their case down for a moment at a display. It's amazing the
dollar amount of instruments and stuff contained in just 2 vendor rooms!
Hope I'm not giving anyone ideas who might be lurking!
