I've been a MUTS user for years. Works great. Lately my R thumb has been
giving me a pain even with it. : ( I think moving my thumbrest up will
help.

The Halo is even more obvious than MUTS. One can barely see MUTS unless the
oboist is sitting at the front of the stage.
I would think the Halo would interfere with what angle the player needs.
