Hi,

Rainbow thread...hmmm. I generally use the same type of cane, but I like to
experiment a little. When I do, I use a different color thread for each
different variety of cane I try. Sometimes a variety is phased out if there
are too many reeds of that color that don't make the reed case.

Also, I mark my very best reeds of each color by coating the thread with
glitter nail polish. There is also glow-in-the-dark glitter nail polish
that is great for playing in a pit orchestra.

I like idea of a "second rainbow wrap." I'm trying to think of how I can
fit it into my reed accounting system. :)
