Frank,
I have three pieces that I wrote for flute and guitar that I could
transcribe the flute part for bassoon. Two of the pieces have origins
with other wind instruments ( one with saxophone and the other with
English Horn) so I feel that they would work well with bassoon. They
all have a Latin flavor. Three Preludes and Four Spanish Dances are
Spanish influenced and Southwestern Suite uses Native American, Cowboy
and Mexican songs. You can see and hear samples of these pieces at my
web site http://cooppress.hostrack.net and click on compositions and
arrangements then mixed ensembles. If any of these interested you,
e-mail me at cooppress@-----. I'll transcribe the
flute part for bassoon and charge you the price that is listed for the
flute & guitar version.

Once you see the music appear, you can click on the trumpet icon which
enables you to change the top instrument and print the music that way.
You may need to adjust octaves to make it fit the bassoon, but it will
be in the correct clef and key and range for the most part. You may
also be able to find other works at sibeliusmusic.com for solo
instrument and guitar that you could do the same thing. A lot of people
are not aware of this feature at sibeliusmusic that can open up a lot
of repertoire.
