the turkish mey!! Hmm....where is that sound clip? i wanna hear it. Im
not sure which is the turkish mey. I'm not that familiar with turkish
instruments but maybe if i hear the sound I can remember. Most of
these instruments are more of a traditional instruments like the
cousin of the Oboe the Mizmar. The egyptian peasants use it ALOT. It's
one of their main instruments they use in weddings and stuff. But it
has a very loud sound in case you never heard it before. Its like
playing on the oboe with your mouth going down all the way to the reed
well. But they control the pitch with their embouchure and biting.
