Miriam,

Yes, I use the circular hygrometer sold by the
Humistat Co., along with their Humistat Model #1 in
each of my instrument cases. It's about 1 3/4" in
diameter and goes in any reed case slot quite nicely.
It shows the maintenance of between a 40% to 50%
relative humidity level inside the case while my
indoor relative humidity ranges from between 25% to
35% here in the Chicago winter (with a room humidifier
going).
