I need to clarify about how I made the humidifier out of an oboe tube case
(the clear plasic ones that they are often sent/sold in) and water absorbing
crystals.
The crystals are soaked with distilled water after they are put in the tube.
Holes punched in one side with a large pin or needle. I suppose one could
also melt holes in the plastic tube.

Sorry for any confusion; it was late at night and my brain was not at its
best technical writing capacity!
