I was involved in the Reed Vitalizer testing. I tried them for oboe reeds
and for Saxophone, also. I found it to stabilize the oboe reeds nicely. They
were more consistent from use to use. They felt just a bit harder. Soaking
time was shorter. I like it. I just got a couple more at the jazz educators
convention last week.
The Saxophone reeds were not as effected, but that might be just me.
I preferred the medium (73%) humidity level. Oh, the bags are not the
most durable. Treat them gently. That way you can just replace the Humidipak and
save a few bucks. I'm not sure of the price.
All in all, a product that I recommend.

Take care,
Phil Feather

I'm curious. Is anyone do the R/D testing (Oboe/Bassoon) for this:
