Hiya Ruth,
I played through 6th month with daughter #1 and through 7th month with
daughter #2. Doctor never uttered a peep; but I had the world's most
boring and uneventful pregnancies (with the possible exception of
having pneumonia during girl #1). It's not a silly question, b'c when
you think about it, playing the oboe does involve uneven breathing to a
larger extent than usual, but if your doctor doesn't have a problem,
you shouldn't either. Altho I realize the doctor isn't carrying the
baby. I wouldn't, however, undertake 5 performances of the Strauss
concerto...
BTW, May 16 is a great day to deliver (#2's birthday!) ;-)
good luck!!!!!!
