Subj: [DR-L] Bach cello suites

I am preparing to perform the Bach Cello suite No 1,
on bassoon natch. I was wondering two things really.

1.) is it ok to omit all the repeats? and if I do so,
should i still da capo from minuet II back to minuet
I?

and
2) If I DC back to minuet I, is it appropriate to add
ornamentation?

THanks for your responses guys, I've been reading this
list for a long time, but this is the first time I've
posted a question, and I'm ready for the interesting
discussion.
