I have one cross cut profiler for sale. It can be bought striped of the
motor or completely working. The price is 900 dollars. The cutter is
aluminium and uses emery cloth. It is very easy to change(simular to the
reeddoall) the sanding material. It puts a perfect crescent shape from side
to side. The profile is stright. It is far better than any single profiler
and simpler than a double type & is highly adjustable. I use a tip profiler
with it. The sanding material can be of different grits which is the
advantage of this machine. It will profile a piece of cane in less than 30
seconds. It can be adapted to work contra reeds for 100 dollars and machine
