Subj: [DR-L] Bassoon and Oboe

I am a trumpet player that will be taking bassoon and oboe lessons for a class.
How do the double reed instruments compare to that of the trumpet? I know the
oboe needs a lot of back pressure to play correctly, but that should be normal
for a trumpet player, correct? Will the reeds and instruments be hard to take
care of?
