Hi Ed,

I'm just curious. It was my first bassoon and I sold it to a student
when I found my Heckel and have since lost track of the student. I
just wondered if it is out there somewhere and how it's playing now. I
don't know about your 467 but I felt pretty good about 461 and have
wondered since if I really did the right thing selling it when I did.
(Really, I didn't have the money to keep two bassoons at the time but I
might have been able to work out some sort of loan to keep both of them
if I had tried.)

I think that the bassoon is probably somewhere in Texas but I'm not
sure of that.
