Dear List,

Thank you for you many varied (and sometimes funny) replies about my
unknown player. I have asked for some clarification about where the
photos appeared and received this answer, in case it might help jog
another memory or two!

"They are from RCA Victor "Talking Machine" posters from 1931. They
produced
a series of posters based on instruments of the orchestra."
