Hi, I currently have a very talented bassoon student who is entering his
senior year of high school. He's not sure whether he wants to go into education
or performance yet. He has a part-time job at Barnes & Noble, so he can buy
books (and CD's) with his employee discount. I've recommended some books he
should get, but am posing this question to several groups in order to get a
variety of opinions: What books do you think a high school student who is very
serious about music should have in his personal library?
