Subj: [DR-L] A musician without borders

I too have just read Jennifer Paull's beautiful review of Giles Apap, "A
musician without borders". Although it is not directly about double reeds,
it is about the art of making music. In all kinds of environments. All kinds
of music.

As we have discovered in the past, Jennifer has a way with words that sound
very much like the oboe d'amore she loves. It is a very good read. I wish
that I could use the English language as well as she does. Yes, the article
is related to the oboe or bassoon. Making music is definitely much more than
just recreating black note on white paper.

Bravo, Jen, and please get better soon.
