The 11th annual Northwest Oboe Seminar will be held on Saturday, August 21,
2004 in Portland, OR.

It is being sponsored by long-time friends of the NOS, Mark Chudnow
Woodwinds and Jones Double Reed Products.

This annual event is for intermediate through advanced oboists and is
devoted to all aspects of oboe performance with a different focus each year.
This year's focus will be "What Every Oboist Needs to Know about the Body"
with guest Barbara Conable, world-renowned for her work with the Alexander
Technique, Body Mapping and as the founder of Andover Education.

The day's schedule includes a solo master class, brief instrument
repair/adjusting session, the focus session with Barbara, small ensemble
rehearsals, large ensemble rehearsal, dinner and a 7:30 p.m. performance by
all participants.
