Kat
i actually enjoyed reading the email!! and it made sense to me.
I lived in San Francisco for 8 years. People there kept telling me that I
had a "east coast" accent!!When i went to Saugatuck, MI as well as the motor
city, I learned that people used "Pop soda" for Pepsi or coke or sprite. I
thought it was strange!! why not just say Pepsi or Coke??
People also in California said Hoover most of the time. Vacum , Hoover we
all get the picture dont we?
But some things are just shocking!!In Morroco the word used for bread is the
same vulgar street name for buttocks in Tunisia!!
In Classical Arabic the correct proper term for Iron (as in ironing clothes)
is the same word we use in Kuwait for buttocks.

have a nice weekend everyone ;)
