Jonathan: you weren't wrong per se. Double reed topics are nice to have,
but you've got to loathe Ronald Reagan and most things American, including,
I suppose, the "American scrape", taking the bark off the back of the reed
and leaving a spine.

I have to admit that I'm a little bit confused. I thought I had joined a
doublereed list where discussion of issues related to doublereed instruments
took place. If I'm wrong would someone please let me know what list I am
actually subscribed to, because I want to find that doublereed list and join
it instead.

Thank you,
