I use 21ga wire under the wrapped knot for stability of the tube.

I wasn't aware that non-combatants were covered by the conventions, and BTW
our treatment of them is child's play compared to their treatment of us
don't you think? Not an excuse of course, but soldiers in war are sometimes
very angry.
