I wrap to the cork. Just because I like the way it looks. The thread I
use is cheap (upholstery thread most of the time) so I'm not bothered
by the small amount of what some might think of as waste.
Rhondda ... we are a large bit 'o land here! Trust me when I say some
of us are horrified, disgusted, and horribly ashamed. Honest and true.
