Aah, I'm glad to see we are back on track with doublereed related
commentary. Let me add my bit. I personally do not think Jennifer is a
space alien. On the topic of paranoids (watch it, they may be reading this)
I have no musical examples except the first conductor I ever met, Moshe
Paranov. Behind his back he was occasionally called Moshe Paranoid, just
for the alliteration. He did have a behavioral anomaly, though. He threw
batons. My mother played bass in his community orchestra the Brockton
Orchestral Society in the 1940-60's and would come home with scratches on
her bass. He took delivery of two dozen batons, and the large size at that,
at the beginning of each rehearsal series and would fling them with some
accuracy at fakers, slackers, and the tempo-or-intonation-impaired.
