Hi, Frank,

Politically, I agree with all that you say about Reagan and with what
James added about his cutting back funding for the arts in schools. In
fact, he began that as governor of California. Like you, I am sorry he
got Alzheimers and am sorry he has died. But, I feel as Kim, I
believe, in a post yesterday, that the QOD was an acknowledgment of the
specialness of D Day (which affected people world-wide) , coupled with
stirring words (likely not even written by him) of an important figure
who had just passed away. I'd be very surprised if our QOD lady dared
to be purposefully political.

Just my point of view.
