Not to get too political on the list, but wasn't most funding for the arts in schools
eliminated, during Reagan's tenure of "trickle-down" economics? That certainly
affects the musical life of the country. Also, before sainting this individual,
perhaps one could review all the THOUSANDS of civilians killed in Nicaragua, under
the guise of "freedom fighters", sponsored by Mr. Reagan's administration.

Just a note from another citizen of the United States of Amnesia.
