Your friend needs to consult a neurologist to rule out spinal(vertebral)
stenosis. It can be alleviated, but it is not a good idea to wait until
there is a lot of nerve degeneration. It is probably not a chiropractic
issue and requires careful diagnosis. The correction is usually surgical,
but is not too big a deal.
