The German language is simple. Anybody with a little mastering of the =20=
English language=A0
after some initial declinations=A0can learn it without any difficulties. =

This is anyhow the motto mentioned by German teachers=A0before they =
start =20
teaching: der, die, das, den, des, dem etc. and everything else is pure =20=
logic.
To illustrate the above claims here comes a practical example:
First buy=A0the " Book of German Language"=A0.This is a =
beautiful=A0volume, =20
Published by Dortmund publishers about the habits of=A0the Hotentots =
(auf =20
Deutsch:Hottentotten). In the book it is described how the=A0opposum =20
(Beutelratten) are captured and imprinsoned in=A0cages (Kotter), and =20
covered with a fabric (Lattengitter) to cover them from rain. =20
These=A0cages are called in German=A0"cages covered with a cloth" =20
(Lattengitterkotter). So when they contain an opposum they are called =20=
Lattengitterkotterbeutelratten.
One day the Hotentots captured=A0an assasin (Attentater), charged of =20
murdering=A0a mother (Mutter)
Hotentot (Hottentottenmutter), having a son a little bit stupid =20
and=A0stuttering =A0(Stottertrottel).
Such a woman is called in German Hottentottenstottertrottelmutter and =20=
her assasin is a Hottentottenstottertrottelmutterattentater.=A0
The hero=A0captures the assasin=A0and=A0imprisons him temporarily=A0in =
an =20
opposum cage.
(Beutelrattenlattengitterkotter), but the captive escapes. Immediatly, =20=
all go after the fugitive,
and after some time the brave Hotentot comes back shouting: - We have =20=
captured the (Attentater)! - Yes?
which?, asks the tribe chief. - The =20
Lattengitterkotterbeutelratterattentater, replies the warrior.
- How come, the assasin=A0in the cage of the opposum covered with a =20
fabric? asks the chief of the Hotents. - Well, -replies the hero- the =20=
Hottentottenstottertrottelmutterattentater. (The assasin of the =20
hotentot mother of the stupid stuttering boy). - Ah,so was, ja ! =20
replies the chief of the Hotentots. You could have said from the =20
beginning that youve caught the: =20
Hottentottenstottertrottelmutterlattengitterkotterbeutelrattenattentater=20=
.
So as you can se,=A0the =A0German language is indeed simple to master =
once =20
you get the feeling for it.
You only need a little practice but the logic is perfect...
P.S.=A0In fact this is not the longest word in German, and some have =
even =20
70-90 letters long.
