Dear list,

A friend of mine from Manchester, England just found a crack between two
posts on her 2003 Marigaux. The crack goes from one post to the other but
doesn't go through any tone hole.

She has to play in a symphony concert tomorrow, and was wondering if she
would damage her oboe further by continue playing on it (for now the oboe
still seals). Would anyone please give her some advice? She is not on this
list, but can be reached at oboelizzie@-----.
