Thank you for the relevant quote, Janie.

Just to let everyone know that the day before Mother's Day is Birthmother's
Day. Anyone who is touched by adoption may want to take that into
consideration.

Some birthmothers (and fathers) do remain nameless and faceless, some search
for the child they relinquished, sometimes under pressure and unwillingly;
some are not recognized by the adoptive family, once they are known by the
adoptee.

Anyone who wishes to continue the topic may email me privately.
