Dear Doublereeders,

A browsable archive and fast search through the archive is now available. To
manually browse through the postings (since 11/2002) just point your Web
browser to:

http://www.woodwind.org/Databases/Doublereed/

and dig on through. If you'd like to do fast searches through the archives
point your browser at

http://www.woodwind.org/Search/

check the box for "The Doublereed Mailing List Archives", type in the words
you'd like to match on, and click the button.

All HTML and/or attachments have been purged from the archives; however, if
there were pictures attached to the messages they have been moved to a
reserved area on the http://www.woodwind.org web server and links have been
added to the postings so the pictures can be retrieved. In the future, if
anyone wants to make pictures available to the list please send them to me.
I'll then put them up on the Web server and give you their URL so you can
add that to your posting.

You'll also notice that all email addresses in the archives have the domain
name blanked out; this is to prevent the spammers who "screen scrape" from
grabbing your email address off of the archives.

I'll get the "pre-Washburn" archives up & running as soon as I get them &
massage the HTML out of them.
