It well demonstrated by photos and text in The Art of Oboe Playing, by
Sprenkle and Ledet. That's how I learned it. I was used to doing macrame,
too, and kinda knew what a half-hitch and double half-hitch knot was.
I used to do 2, but now do 3 and also add a dap of Okay To Wash It glue for
added insurance against unraveling, which only has happened to me 2x.
(Incidentally, we are having a summer like day here - the tulips are popping
through - windows open; ah-h, Spring!!)
