Actually I have heard about using a Steel to finish a reed knife. Phil Freihofner if i'm not mistaken.

Phil if you are reading this msg please tell me where you bought yours and how.

Sadly, it seems to me there is too much tragidy and death and bombing all over the world the past few months. It's really depressing ;(
