Dear List,

There was a time when my desk became drowned with reed shavings.
Now it has a computer which gets drowned in spam. I have modified
my address (please, friends note) and had a magical time trying to
rejoin
the List, which is rather like trying to get into a sardine tin with a
shoe horn.

I hope I haven't missed anything of world shattering importance during
this
tight (and lengthy) squeezing through walls of flame and protection
against
the foe.
