Ooops - did I write 1992??? - sorry, meant 2002..... not enough coffee
this morning ..... LOL...:) :(
I did indeed get the instrument back in as good shape as it was when it was
stolen. My insurance company now owns it as it was replaced, however I was
able to retrieve 2 Leitzinger bocals and all my accessories etc. which was
nice.....
BTW as far as I know, my insurance company is still accepting bids on the
instrument so if anyone out there is interested, please let me know and I
can put you in touch. It will likely go for a good price, though not as
little as it would have sold for on E-bay :) (Canadian $$$ too). Chris
Millard of Backun Musical Services has the instrument and can arrange for
bocals, servicing etc. for whoever wants to buy the instrument once a deal
is worked out with the insurance co.
I will take the steps to take it off the IDRS stolen instrument
registry.....thanks for reminding me about that.
