Subj: [DR-L] bsn cane scoring tool

While I prefer a single blade Xacto knife for scoring, I've seen
folks use a large (5/16" or 3/8" -- 16 threads / inch) threading
tap to do the scoring in one step (several swipes). It seems
like a good way to maintain a consistent spacing if you're
not happy with eyeballing the task. Threading taps are
nice sharp tools that maintain a good edge for a long time.
The Xacto knife gives a lot of control and flexibility and takes
me no more than 60 seconds per piece.
