Subj: [DR-L] recording of Hindemith bassoon sonata

Does anyone out there remember a recording of the Hindemith bassoon
sonata on LP dating from before 1957? I would like to find who the
bassoonist on that recording was.

The only things I can remember (if my memory can be trusted) is the the
Hindemith trombone sonata was also on the album and it seems the cover
illustrated something like cave art or was perhaps a copy of some cave
art.

I anyone has any information, I would like your help. Also, if anyone
has suggestions for searching something like this, I'll do my own
research.
