Dear List,

Sorry to trouble you all, but I am having difficulty reaching Janie of
the Daily Quotes
whom I appreciate so much. My mail is returned and I'm wondering if
there is a problem
at her end.

I was particularly pleased recently to read one of her quotations which
included the
words form the tenor aria from the Messiah recently.

Having been on this list on and off for many years, I have seen many
people making
fun of the texts of the old English and was delighted to see them being
upheld for what
they are, totally inspiring, no matter what one's religion.

Good reeds to all who play it this year, and whichever concerts during
the holiday season.
