Hi,

I dont know if you were referring to me or maybe there IS someone from Iraq who subscripes to this list as well. Either way I"m from Kuwait. I dont know if that would help or not. But Iraq Kuwait are both neighbors and arab countries (yet they invaded our country!!!)and have very similar traditions. THus, its all the same for instrument and music. Unless your research is ONLY about Iraq then I dont know if i can help.
