I'm afraid you may have to stick with my 25 year memory of having heard
the recording and I thought when I first wrote you that it was
Vogelgesang. It still rings a bell for me. But I bet you could check the
Curtis archives if he studied there and see if there was either a
Vogelgesang or Vogelsang who studied piano and violin in the 30s or 40s.
