I had special bifocal glasses made.

The top was for far vision and the lower part intermediate.

I had the cut between the two lenses made very high in the glasses - so if
you looked straight ahead they would be a line in your vision; however, when
playing the conductor was clear and well as the music since he was elevated
and the music stand was lower.

It works just fine.
