Excellent thread on glasses for music or computer use. I appreciate all the
different solutions, and may try several of them. I have been going with a
pair of lenses about 30% weaker than the reading part of my progressive
bifocals. This gives about a 20-30 inch range, just right for me, and
conductor is still in good enough view for most things (I can't see the
finer points of his grimacing at me for my more egregious errors....)
The idea of a central-focus bifocal with a distance outside sounds
intriguing. Anyone else have a different solution - let's get them all out
here to choose among.
