I might have to try that.

I found several web sites that sell straight razors, too. One would have to
remount it in a handle such as a piece of dowel. One of my favorite knives
for working on reed tips was an old razor knife; now it's pretty worn down
from almost 20 yrs. of honing. I might try a disposable one I saw at
http://www.heimerdingercutlery.com/catalog/ (search for shaving razors); the
Dovo Shavette for $23.50. Not bad if it'll last. I just don't want to shell
out $50+ for a premium razor.
