Subj: [DR-L] HELP: Stuck bell and lower joint!

Hi all...
Slight emergency here, hopefully someone is still up and checking their mail
at this hour...
I've been having problems unattaching my oboe's bell from the middle
joint...I attribute this to the humid weather here in Washington, DC. I
just came back from orchestra rehearsal, and I believe the bell and the
joint are really stuck...I've been trying to pull them apart for the past
half hour. How does one unattach them? Should I just wait and bring it to
the repair shop?
Please, respond ASAP, I will be up for a while before I sleep
