fyi - Ricordi has been purchased by Bertelsmann so now Hal Leonard is the
distributor for most of there stuff. They have the study score and the
bassoon/piano version but no orchestral parts.

Good to hear from you Ron - I'm sure youdon't you miss the Ithaca Winter's!

Subject: [DR-L] Wolf-Ferrari Suite-Concertino, Op. 16, bassoon

Dear Folks: I am considering performing the Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari
Suite-Concertino, Op. 16, for bassoon and orchestra. Has anyone played this
work with orchestra? Where did you obtain the parts? According to the
Ricordi
website, the music is published for bassoon and piano and the orchestral
score
is available. However, there is no mention of orchestral parts, and the
Ricordi rental library link is "under construction" and unavailabale. I have
not yet contacted Ricordi, but before I do so, I wanted to query the readers
of this list for further information. I've also checked Luck's Music
Library,
Boosey & Hawkes (the U.S. Ricrodi distributor), and J.W. Pepper, all to no
avail. Help! And with sincerest thanks, --Ron Bukoff--
