Friends,

Thank you so much for all the great messages. I continue to welcome all
suggestions for oboe references, and thank you all for such great information. I do
hope to produce an article about the oboe and Star Trek. But, yes, I do know
and have been saying all along that Data played the oboe. The episode was "In
Theory" - season 4. The performance of my "Fantasy" was dedicated to the
memory of Data, who died in "Nemesis".
