A tip profiler is a very valuable machine. They can be modified infinitely.
The idea is to know what you want in a tip and then adjust the tip profiler
to get as close to it as possible. I have worked on the pattern for my tip
profiler with a small file and have it very close. They play right off the
machine for me. I think there are machinists out there that sell different
patterns for the Reiger. You might find one you like. Instructions: Don't
