I recently learned that there is a doctoral student in Minnesota that has
grave doubts that Devienne composed the "Mozart 2nd Bassoon Concerto, "
after doing extensive research for his Devienne dissertation. I'm at the
moment trying to "track him down" - if I do reach him, I'll hopefully find
out his reservations regarding Devienne's authorship. Quite a musical
mystery, if Devienne is indeed not the composer!
