Hello Jim,

What is it Arthur Weisberg says? Something to
the effect of: Either it's somewhat poor by Mozart's
standard, or really good for Devienne...(!)
If you believe it's French, there's always the
Jacques Ibert Cadenza(!)

There was a discussion started on the IDRS list
that someone had found an entire stack of unknown
"Parthias" of (one of Mozarts contemporaries) the
Viennese oboist JN Went. (could very well be spurious...)

I start to salivate when I hear of "unknown"
period Viennese MS being found in the Czech-lands...
The real Mozarts' may well be out there, somewhere!

Good luck.

Regards,
Guy Mallery
